A mountain bike is not a complicated machine in theory, especially when it comes to hardtails. Frame, wheels, shock absorber and hardware. However, we know that it is SOMETHING more. That is why we spend hundreds, thousands of hours on prototyping and testing them. We collect the opinions of cyclists for the KROSS Racing Team and on their basis we improve subsequent versions of the equipment. There is nothing accidental about KROSS Level 15.0.
KROSS Level 15.0 in 2021 is a continuation of the thought guiding us when designing previous generations of this bike. It is not only a new paintwork on the frame - we have improved many small details that translate into the pleasure and comfort of driving.
Using the experience of our players, we decided to use the D84 Carbon S L fiber in all KROSS Level 15.0 frames. We supplemented it with the highly valued Sram equipment, the American manufacturer, which was the first to introduce a twelve-row in-line drive for MTB bikes on the market. We also selected a high-quality FOX shock absorber, DT Swiss wheels, Mitas tires and Fi'zi: k. In the case of KROSS Level 15.0, we tried not to compromise, thanks to which we have created a mountain bike for even the most ambitious amateur.
Carbon D84 SLis the best type of carbon fiber available in our bikes. It is an extremely light material consisting of two types of fibers - T800 and M40J, connected with nanoalloy resin. As a result, we managed to obtain a bike that is extremely stiff and perfectly absorbs vibrations. The frames made of this material were created for demanding players who expect full obedience from their machine. When choosing accessories, we chose some of the best components available on the market. SRAM X01 Eagle groupon the one hand, it is high stiffness and resistance to operation, and on the other hand, it is relatively low weight. In the case of brakes, we chose SRAM Level TLM hydraulic disc brakes, which is one of the best proposition for every rider. The cassette with a gear ratio of 10-50 and twelve gear ratios will ensure a comfortable and fast ride on flat and steep walls. Cushioning is FOX Float 32 SC Performance with 100mm travel. This is a new design with a modified crown to increase the stiffness corresponding to that offered by the 34 model. Additionally, there is a shock absorber lock lever on the steering wheel for comfortable driving on flat sections. Finally, the DT Swiss XR 1501 Spline One wheels are worth mentioning. These 29 ”wheels will facilitate driving in all conditions. Tailored for the tubeless system, together with 2.25 ”Mitas Scylia V75 tires, they provide excellent traction in all conditions.
